Upgrade your knowledge to improve the health and welfare of your mare and foal
As an equine veterinarian, there is nothing I love more than ensuring that you know exactly what to do during the birth of your foal, so that you have the greatest chance of your foal being born healthy.
I’m Iris van Gulik Equine Veterinarian from Holland. I’m working as an equine veterinarian since 2008.
In addition to treating sick horses, I think it’s super important to prevent problems. I do this by increasing owners’ health knowledge through online courses. I have translated my popular foaling course into English so that I can now assist breeders all over the world.
By sharing my knowledge about the birthing process and the first week of life of the foal with you, I teach you how to see through the eyes of an equine veterinarian. This enables you to notice problems earlier and know how to intervene, thereby increasing the chances of a healthy mare and foal.
